ARST single and season tickets available via the DropTicket app.

All tickets issued by the Sardinian regional transport company ARST may be purchased on your smartphone via the DropTicket app or from the ARST website (www.arst.sardegna.it).

ARST already allowed last minute passengers to use their mobile phone pay-as-you-go credit to buy single tickets. The latest DropTicket update meets the needs of regular customers and season ticket holders, who can now purchase by credit card, thus doing away with the waiting times for printed season tickets.

The tickets must be validated on board when used, and the validation must be shown to the driver as soon as you get on.

“As ARST announced last July,” said Director Carlo Poledrini, “we are taking another step forward in modernizing the service we offer the public by enabling mobile ticketing, after an initial test stage. Our efforts are focused on strategic investments in order to increase our quality standards and also counter fair dodging, which weighs heavily on the company's accounts and penalizes those who duly pay for single and season tickets.”
